Overview
This bill would require the Governor of New Jersey to hold regular public hearings when a public health emergency is declared under the Emergency Health Powers Act. These hearings would be held at least once a month in different locations throughout the state, giving residents a chance to share their concerns and receive information about the emergency declaration and its impact. Currently, there is limited public input during these declarations, and this bill aims to address that.
