Overview
This bill expands the duties of the State Auditor to include performance audits, which assess the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of state programs. It establishes a Performance Audit Committee, comprised of eight public members appointed by legislative leadership, to assist the State Auditor in conducting these audits.
