Overview
This bill restricts access to motor vehicle accident reports under certain circumstances. Currently, insurers can receive accident report information within 24 hours of an incident. This bill would delay the general public's access to these reports until 90 days after the accident date, with exceptions for insurers, accident victims, and law enforcement. The bill also amends the form required for accident reports by the Motor Vehicle Commission.
