Overview
This bill requires that juveniles charged with delinquent acts be prosecuted in the county where the incident that led to the complaint occurred. Currently, if a juvenile lives in a different county than where the crime happened, the case can be moved to the juvenile’s home county unless the court deems it necessary to stay in the original county.
