Overview
This bill exempts sales of bandages, dressings, gauze, and swabs from the New Jersey sales and use tax. These items, which must be disposable and not designed for repeated use, are currently exempt if they meet the definition of an over-the-counter drug. This legislation expands the exemption to include all bandages and similar products, regardless of whether they contain active ingredients.
