Overview
This bill requires New Jersey’s colleges and universities, as well as government employers, to inform students and employees about the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Institutions must provide information to students with outstanding federal student loans before graduation and during application, while employers must provide information to all employees, particularly during onboarding and annually. The goal is to increase awareness of this loan forgiveness program and ensure eligible individuals can take advantage of it.
