Overview
This bill would allow eligible school districts to reimburse school bus drivers for the cost of obtaining their commercial driver licenses and required endorsements. To qualify for reimbursement, drivers must maintain their CDL, complete required training, and commit to at least five years of employment with the district. Drivers who leave before five years would be required to repay a portion of the licensing costs based on the length of their employment.
