Overview
This bill expands the NJT Access Link paratransit service area to include all veterans health care facilities in New Jersey, regardless of their location within the existing service area. It requires NJ Transit to provide origin-to-destination paratransit service to and from these facilities, extending the service area by 1.5 miles around each facility and 1.5 miles along the route to the nearest fixed bus or light rail station. The bill also appropriates $1 million to cover the costs associated with this expansion.
