Overview
This bill establishes a new crime of ‘fertility fraud’ in New Jersey. It defines this crime as occurring when a healthcare practitioner performs assisted reproduction treatments – such as IVF – on a patient using their own reproductive material or another person’s material without obtaining written, informed consent.
