Overview
This bill requires New Jersey municipalities to create designated parking spaces for disabled veterans and Purple Heart recipients. These spaces would be located near city hall or other principal municipal buildings. The bill amends existing law to clarify exemptions from parking meter fees for veterans and recipients with proper license plates or placards. It also directs the Motor Vehicle Commission to create rules for issuing these placards.
