Overview
This bill authorizes the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to issue special license plates honoring the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Applicants must pay a $50 application fee and a $10 annual renewal fee in addition to standard registration fees. The proceeds from these fees will be deposited into a dedicated fund to cover the costs of producing and administering the plates, with an initial contribution from the organization to offset those costs. The commission will need to meet certain requirements, including receiving sufficient applications and fees, before beginning the production and distribution of the plates.
