Overview
This bill requires New Jersey public schools that provide student psychological services to also offer counseling sessions remotely, such as through video conferencing. Schools can still offer in-person sessions if the school psychologist determines it’s the best option for the student. The law ensures students have access to counseling services regardless of location or format. It will first apply to the upcoming school year following its enactment.
