Overview
This bill updates New Jersey’s workers’ compensation law to clarify how employer-provided board and lodging is valued. Currently, it’s fixed at $25 per week unless otherwise agreed upon. The bill changes this to reflect the market value of the lodging, but excludes the value during periods of total temporary disability. It also clarifies how wages are calculated based on output, hourly rates, and record-keeping practices.
