Overview
This bill requires employers in New Jersey to provide job applicants with information about their eligibility for various types of leave and benefits, including family leave, federal family and medical leave, and temporary disability benefits. Employers must disclose this information in writing as part of the job offer and must also notify applicants if they are ineligible for any of these benefits, explaining the reason for the ineligibility. Failure to comply will result in a civil penalty.
