Overview
This bill requires State, county, and municipal employees, as well as certain State contractors, to complete cybersecurity awareness training. State officers and employees in the Executive and Judicial branches must complete the training annually, with the Chief Technology Officer overseeing the program’s content and delivery. County and municipal employees, members of the legislature, and contractors must also participate. The training is intended to improve cybersecurity practices across government and contracted services.
