Overview
This bill creates legal immunity for youth sports leagues and senior planned real estate development associations in New Jersey. It shields these organizations, along with their members, employees, and agents, from civil lawsuits related to injuries or deaths allegedly caused by exposure to COVID-19 during youth sports events or the operation of their facilities. The immunity is retroactive to March 9, 2020, and excludes liability for criminal acts, fraud, or gross negligence.
