Overview
This bill allows New Jersey municipalities to create a special fund called a ‘dredging control reserve fund.’ The fund can be built by using any money that isn’t spent each year on dredging projects. Municipalities can then use these funds for various dredging-related activities, such as removing debris from waterways, improving navigation, and supporting local maritime, recreational, or tourism industries.
