Overview
This bill authorizes the creation of a special ‘Support Our Veterans’ license plate in New Jersey. Proceeds from the initial $50 fee and $10 annual fee will be deposited into a dedicated fund to support Veterans Haven North and South, centers providing services to homeless veterans. The Motor Vehicle Commission will design the plate in consultation with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the program’s continuation is contingent on covering initial costs and receiving a sufficient number of applications.
