Bill overview
This bill changes Nevada election rules to require voters to show photo identification when voting in person. Voters without photo ID can cast a provisional ballot, which must be submitted within five days after election. The bill also creates a process for the DMV to issue free identification cards to financially struggling registered voters and a digital ID card for all registered voters, though the digital ID card won't be available until 2028. It also modifies procedures for mail ballot drop boxes, including establishing more locations in larger counties and requiring monitoring and security measures.
