Bill overview
This bill aims to prevent deceptive practices related to the sale of hemp products in Nevada. It requires businesses that don't have a cannabis license to clearly display signs at their locations stating they are not licensed to sell cannabis and that their hemp products contain less than the legal THC limit. The bill also prohibits misleading advertising about licensing status or the nature of hemp products. The Cannabis Compliance Board is granted the authority to investigate and refer violations to the Attorney General for penalties.
