Bill overview
This bill simplifies state government operations by eliminating several reporting requirements for various state agencies and committees. Specifically, it removes the need for the Attorney General, Executive Director of Economic Development, and Department of Corrections to submit annual reports to the Interim Finance Committee (IFC). It also streamlines reporting for the Legislative Bureau of Educational Accountability and Program Evaluation, the Merit Award Board, and local governments regarding performance contracts. Furthermore, the bill eliminates reporting requirements related to the Recovery Fund, University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine, and several other programs and boards.
