Bill overview
This bill makes changes to how chiropractic physicians and assistants are licensed in Nevada. It allows chiropractors to issue temporary certificates to assistants who already hold licenses in other states, under the supervision of a chiropractor. The bill also modifies the membership of the Chiropractic Physicians’ Board of Nevada, removes a requirement for a board member representing indigent patients, and increases the number of chiropractic physicians the Governor must appoint. Furthermore, it revises examination requirements for licensure, removes semiannual examination requirements, and alters fees the Board can charge.
