Bill overview
This bill requires New Jersey employers to allow employees experiencing menstrual disorders to work remotely for at least two full days per month, upon request and with medical documentation. Employers can only deny a remote work request if it would create an undue hardship or if the employee cannot perform their job duties remotely. Employees will not face penalties for requesting or utilizing this accommodation, and employers who violate the law could face civil fines.
