Bill overview
This bill requires pharmacies in New Jersey to notify the local municipality at least 90 days before they plan to close. The pharmacy owner or their representative must send written notice to the municipality and the State Board of Pharmacy. The State Board of Pharmacy will then create rules to ensure this notification process is followed. This aims to give communities time to adjust to the loss of a pharmacy.
