Overview
This bill authorizes the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to create and offer special license plates honoring the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The plates will have a design featuring words or a slogan and an emblem, and applicants will pay a $50 application fee and a $10 annual renewal fee. Revenue generated from these fees, after covering the costs of production, administration, and computer programming, will be deposited into a dedicated fund to support the sorority's mission and programs. The program will require a minimum of 500 applications and an initial contribution from the sorority or designated entities to cover initial setup costs.
