Bill overview
This bill ends State tuition aid grants for students attending proprietary colleges. Instead of these grants, the money will be used to fund summer tuition aid grants for students attending eligible institutions like public colleges and universities. The bill also limits future tuition aid grants for students currently enrolled in proprietary institutions to those who received an award prior to the 2026-2027 academic year.
