Overview
This bill creates a task force to study the feasibility of transitioning New Jersey’s state government to a paperless system. The task force will be composed of a diverse group of members, including state officials and public representatives with expertise in technology, cybersecurity, and elections. It will investigate various aspects of a paperless system, such as technology options, cybersecurity needs, and potential costs and benefits, and will produce interim and final reports for the Governor and the Legislature. The task force’s work will conclude six months after the release of its final report.
