Overview
This bill establishes a statewide Office of the State Chief Efficiency Officer and creates Efficiency Officer positions within each New Jersey Executive Branch department, as well as allowing counties and municipalities to create similar roles. The goal is to improve how state and local government funds are spent and to identify potential cost savings across the state.
