Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) to create and maintain a toll-free hotline for people to report violations of election laws. Anyone can use the hotline to report issues like campaign finance violations or election-related crimes. ELEC will review these reports and can forward them to the Attorney General, county prosecutors, or other law enforcement agencies for further investigation if needed.
