Bill overview
This bill allows small businesses in New Jersey to qualify for low-interest loans from the Economic Development Authority (EDA) to cover the costs of energy audits and implementing energy efficiency or conservation improvements in their buildings. The EDA will work with the Board of Public Utilities and the Department of Community Affairs to establish this program. The loans can cover up to 100% of the costs associated with these improvements.
