Overview
This bill creates a new New Jersey Cold War medal to honor individuals who served honorably during the Cold War. The medal will be presented by the Governor to residents or former residents of New Jersey who completed at least 180 days of service in the organized militia or federal military between September 2, 1945, and December 26, 1991. The bill also establishes a dedicated fund to cover the costs of designing, manufacturing, and distributing the medal.
