This bill changes how the State Board of Education can create rules. It requires the Legislature to approve all new rules, changes to existing rules, and readoptions of expiring rules. Furthermore, the bill completely repeals the ‘Managing for Equity in Education’ regulations, which were previously established by the State Board of Education.
