Bill overview
This bill changes the New Jersey Nonprofit Security Grant Program to allow nonprofits to use grant funds for security training, intelligence gathering, and analysis, in addition to traditional security personnel and equipment. It increases the maximum grant amounts for these new categories, and requires the Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness to request a significantly larger annual budget for the program. The goal is to enhance the security preparedness of nonprofit organizations in New Jersey.
