Overview
This bill changes the rules for county planning boards in New Jersey. Currently, the director of the Board of County Commissioners must always be a member of the planning board. This legislation allows the director to instead appoint a designee to serve on the board, providing more flexibility in board composition. It also includes technical corrections to the existing law.
