Overview
This bill establishes a program to improve customer service within New Jersey’s State government agencies. It requires each agency to develop and maintain a written plan focusing on a strong service culture, improved employee training, and measurable service performance metrics. Agencies must also display a ‘Customer Service Promise’ and actively solicit customer feedback. The New Jersey Innovation Authority will oversee the plans and report on their effectiveness to the public.
