Overview
This bill authorizes the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to create and offer special "Borinqueneers" license plates to honor the 65th Infantry Regiment, also known as "The Borinqueneers." The plates will feature the regiment’s name and image, and applicants will pay an initial $50 application fee and an annual $10 renewal fee. Proceeds from these fees will be deposited into a dedicated fund to support programs benefiting veterans of the United States Army. The program’s implementation is contingent on securing sufficient funding and applications.
