Overview
This bill changes New Jersey law to exempt certain non-profit organizations from a requirement that employers offer employees pre-tax transportation benefits. Currently, employers with 20 or more employees must allow employees to use pre-tax funds for transportation. However, this bill specifically excludes tax-exempt non-profit organizations from this requirement. The bill also includes provisions regarding collective bargaining agreements and federal government employee benefits.
