Overview
This bill creates a formal process for proposing and publishing revisions to the Governor’s budget recommendations. Any member of the Legislature or the State Treasurer can submit budget resolutions suggesting changes to the budget. These resolutions must be filed with the budget committees and made publicly available on the Legislature’s website by June 1st of each year. The resulting appropriations bill will only include items from the Governor’s original budget and any approved revisions.
