Overview
This bill requires New Jersey colleges and universities to hire a ‘student parent liaison’ at each institution. This liaison will be responsible for informing student parents about available resources and support services, such as academic assistance and strategies, to help them succeed in their studies. They will also serve as a primary contact for student parents needing accommodations or leave due to their parental responsibilities.
