Overview
This bill requires the State Treasurer to collect and study demographic information on corporate boards and in senior management. Corporations and nonprofit corporations will be required to include data on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, and veteran status in their annual reports filed with the Department of the Treasury. The State Treasurer will then publish quadrennial reports summarizing this demographic data across the state’s corporate sector.
