Overview
This bill requires that victims or their families be notified when a person on probation or serving a suspended sentence has their probation period ended, is discharged, or when the terms of their probation or suspension are changed. Currently, victims are not automatically informed of these changes. The goal is to ensure victims and their families are aware of important updates related to a defendant’s case.
