Overview
This bill directs the Department of Banking and Insurance (DOBI) to conduct a confidential review of how health insurance carriers are covering hormone replacement therapy under the New Jersey Menopause Coverage Act. Specifically, DOBI will examine whether coverage has increased since the act’s passage and analyze data on prior authorization and step therapy denials.
