Overview
This bill requires companies sending commercial emails in New Jersey to include an ‘unsubscribe’ link or mechanism in each message. Recipients will only need to activate this link to stop receiving future emails from that sender, and companies cannot require recipients to provide their email address to do so. This aims to give consumers more control over the emails they receive.
