Overview
This bill extends the timeframe that certain businesses have to address and resolve violations of regulations. Specifically, it allows businesses a 30-day extension, in addition to a current 60-day suspension of enforcement, to correct issues that wouldn't significantly harm public safety, employee benefits, or the environment. The bill also requires state agencies to report on violations waived due to these extensions and establishes rules for how these extensions can be granted.
