Bill overview
This bill modifies Nevada election rules to allow non-affiliated voters to participate in primary elections for major political parties. It authorizes nonpartisan voters to request and receive partisan mail ballots, appear at the polls to request a partisan ballot, and removes the requirement for automatic voter registration agencies to notify voters about their inability to vote in partisan primaries. The bill also clarifies the counting of votes in mechanical voting systems and adjusts procedures for issuing ballots and voting receipts to nonpartisan voters.
