Bill overview
This bill clarifies several provisions relating to legislative affairs in Nevada. It specifies that proceeds from the sale of food and other items within the Legislative Building, including the Legislative Counsel Bureau, must be deposited into the Legislative Fund. The bill also clarifies that the Legislative Counsel’s organization of the Nevada Revised Statutes does not constitute a legislative determination regarding the placement of state agencies within the three branches of government. Finally, it reserves supervision and control of certain parcels of land in Carson City for the Legislature, contingent upon their purchase.
