Bill overview
This bill removes a restriction on Nevada local governments’ ability to enter into contracts with other governmental entities or cooperative purchasing organizations. Currently, local governments are prohibited from doing so if a contractor requires a license for any portion of the work. This change would allow greater flexibility in procurement processes and potentially lower costs for local governments.
