This bill modifies Nevada’s state pre-kindergarten grant program, Nevada Ready! State Pre K. It increases the maximum household income level eligible children can have to receive grants, and expands eligibility to include children with individualized education programs or documented needs for behavioral, social, or emotional support. The bill also clarifies how the amount of grant funding will be determined, based on adjusted per-pupil funding and the number of children served by the program.
