Bill overview
This bill makes changes to various education regulations in Nevada. It requires the Department of Education to conduct surveys of public school employees to assess school climate and working conditions, and to use those results to improve school plans. The bill also revises how school districts handle excess funds, changes terminology related to student services, and adjusts reporting requirements for school districts and the State Board. Several sections of the bill are also updated to align with the Pupil-Centered Funding Plan and address charter schools.
