Bill overview
This bill would allow Nevada to remain on Pacific Standard Time year-round, exempting the state from federal laws requiring the annual adjustment of clocks for daylight saving time. Currently, the federal government mandates that states observe daylight saving time, but this legislation would give Nevada the option to opt out. Nevada would no longer need to ‘spring forward’ or ‘fall back’ each year.
